Hilden Pools have a fully comprehensive design and construction service, so you can rest assured that you are in safe hands! From start to finish we carry out all excavation works and landscaping.
We construct reinforced concrete pools using the highest quality materials, forming a solid concrete wall of great stability and durability. This method of construction is traditional and is the number 1 choice for any pool construction and cost saving compared to any other pool constructions.
After an initial site inspection, we will discuss what your requirements are and how best we can make you swimming pool dreams come true. We draw up plans, in line with all current planning & buildings regulations and furthermore, assist you with your application, if necessary.
Authorities do not insist on planning permission for building a private swimming pool in your garden unless it is situated in front of the building line. If you are contemplating erecting an enclosure over the pool, then planning permission will be required.
We will arrange a full schedule of the work to be completed, at a time that is convenient to you. All the way through the build, we ensure that you are very much involved in the progress.
During the construction, we will endeavour to keep the disruption to your normal life to a minimum, we will ensure to give you notice of any large developments prior to them going ahead.
The project will not be finished until you are completely satisfied with your new pool!
Our Design and Build Process
After an initial inspection of the space, we can then discuss the different options and how best to meet your requirements. If you are in need of plans, our team can supply drawings that satisfy all planning and building regulations when necessary. Generally speaking, authorities will not require planning permission for a private swimming pool, unless you’re planning on having it built in front of the building line. Having an enclosed pool will also require planning permission.
Next comes the exciting part, the construction. We will arrange a time schedule for the work to be completed, liaising with you throughout this process. During the construction, we endeavour to keep the disruption to a minimum and will ensure that you are aware of any major developments prior to the work being carried out.

Above ground fitness pool
Manufactured in the UK and made from 44mm pressure treated redwood timber, Plastica’s above-ground Exercise pools are flexible, strong, and an overall sturdy structure.
The size measures 2.42m x 3.91m and there are two different models available: The Exercise pool, and The X-Stream Exercise Pool.
With the strap system technology, you are able to start the building immediately, choose from three ‘over the counter’ wall current systems – there is something to accommodate most users.
Our Exercise Above ground swimming pools are the simplest to install and require the least preparation. It is advised that they are situated on firm level ground when possible. Many of our above ground pools are also suitable for sinking or semi-sinking ground.

Our Above ground swimming pools are easy and simple to install and require little preparation, even where an in-ground pool would not always be possible. We advise that they should be placed on firm level ground, ground pools are also suitable for sinking or semi-sinking in the ground.
